Project Details: In 2020, OtherPowers visioned, designed & launched UNHCR’s R4V platform & refuge-facing app. R4V is an multi-org collaboration platform connecting thousands of participating NGOs (like the RedCross, Doctor’s without Borders, UNICEF etc) with UNHCR-coordinated global supplies & resources.
R4V now provides critical goods & services to over 6.5M displaced persons and at-risk communities in Venezuela and its surrounding countries.
Just after launch, the platform was quickly re-purposed to serve as an emergency COVID-relief & natural disaster-related collaboration tool and global coordination platform. R4V is now actively used by an additional 18 federal governments, across a number of humanitarian crises & human rights efforts.
OtherPowers Services: Design, ENG, Product Management, LGBTQ+ Inclusive Strategy. MVP (0-v1) Desktop Platform & Database for multiple global NGOS and paired mobile app for on/offline displaced-persons communities.
