6 month collabORATION: VISIONED & BUILT PLATFORM for 200+ GLOBAL NGOS + A MOBILE APP NOW USED BY 18 FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS FOR CRISIS RESPONSE EFFORTS& OVER 7M REFUGEES

Project Summary: In 2020, OtherPowers visioned, designed, built & launched the MVP of UNHCR’s R4V platform & refuge-facing app in 6 months. This collaborative platform connected and continues to connects thousands of participating NGOs (RedCross, Doctor’s without Borders,UNICEF etc) with UNHCR coordinated supplies & staff.

R4V also provides critical goods & services to over 6.5M displaced persons and at-risk communities in Venezuela and its surrounding countries. OtherPowers was/is proud to have infused strategic guidance and feature sets specifically for improving the lives of LGBTQ+ communities into this framework of services and supplies offered.

Our MVP has now been re-purposed to serve as a COVID-relief & disaster-related collaboration tool and global coordination platform.It is now actively used by an additional 18 federal governments, across a number of humanitarian crises & human rights efforts.

Services Provided:Full-stack ENG, UX, Product & Strategy from v0-shipped MVP. Desktop Internal Coordination tool and mobile app for refugees.

OtherPowers accomplished this with a 2 person team in 7 months.
